Anza PTA Fundraisers for 2009-2010
We are looking forward to a great year at Anza
School. We would like to give you a quick overview
of the fundraisers for this year. Anza’s PTA raises
money to pay for all of the field trips and
transportation throughout the year, as well as
assemblies, “Classics in the Classroom”, “Arts
Attack”, Computer Licenses and Programs as well
as many school supplies that are not covered by
government funds. We need your support to
continue these great programs, and we truly
appreciate your participation in any of our
fundraisers. Please do not feel that you have to
participate in all of the fundraisers, but we hope you
will find something that you like! We hope you feel
that you get something for your money in addition to
the great feeling that you get, knowing you are
supporting our school and your children. Please
keep this in mind throughout the year as we
send home announcements about new fundraisers
and activities.
Our Fall Fundraiser this year was with Genevieves.
Thanks to your support we surpassed our
fundraising goal for this event. Thank you. You can
continue shopping at www.genevieves.com until the
end of the school year and still support your school.

Back by popular demand is Masterpiece cookie
dough, pretzels, pizza and cheesecake for our
SPRING FUNDRAISER. We had a great
experience last year with Masterpiece and are
hoping to repeat it.
Ongoing Fundraisers:
We are signed up with Schoolcash.com. Whenever
you shop at schoolcash.com, please make sure you
select Anza as the school you wish to support. A
percentage of your purchase is then automatically
given to the school.
You can also support Anza by selecting Anza as the
school you wish to support with purchases on your
TARGET credit or guest cards.
Purchases at OFFICE DEPOT are also a good
way to support Juan de Anza in Hawthorne. When
you pay just ask the cashier to enter our school ID.
BOX TOPS are another great way to help out.
Please send in the box tops from specially marked
boxes with your child. Go to boxtops4education.
com for more information.
WASHINGTON MUTUAL BANK has an incentive
that pays our school money, just for using your debit
card, go online to enroll now.
DIRECT TV is giving Anza 100.00 per new
subscriber and $100.00 for each current subscriber
who renews their package for another year. Go
online or call for details.
We are also participating in a wonderful program
called eScrip. In order to benefit the school all you
need to do is sign on to www.escrip.com and
register your grocery store cards and/or credit
cards. When you use your debit/credit cards at
participating merchants like Macys, Vons, Office
Max, PepBoys, American Airlines and many more,
our school will receive a % of each purchase. For
more information, please log on to www.escrip.com.
RALPHS CLUB card purchases earn us a %. Go
to the following link to sign up. Ralph's/Food 4 Less.
